Tips and advice
To get as fast and effective treatment as possible:
- Check in the insurance terms and conditions that you are eligible for compensation
- Fill out forms completely
- Remember to enclose support documents we ask for, e.g. medical certificate, employer certificate or Decision and payslip from NAV.
What happens next?
If your case is approved, we will send a letter with information about the amount that will be paid, who will receive the payment, what date the payment will be made, and how long it usually takes for the payment to be the recipient in possession.
If your case cannot be approved, we will send you a letter explaining the reason for this. The fact that the case is rejected may be because the information or documentation you have submitted does not fully describe the incident in a sufficiently good way. If you submit new information or documentation to your case, we will reconsider the case.
Complaint
We work to ensure that you as a customer receive as good treatment as possible. If there's something you're not happy with, we'd like you to let us know as soon as possible. We take all customer complaints very seriously. Keep the following information in mind when you contact us:
- Your name and address, as well as your telephone number
- Skadenummer
- A clear description of the question or complaint. If you complain about an injury case, we ask that you enclose documentation that supports your complaint
- Information about the desired measure.
If you are not satisfied with the decision on your complaint, you can refer the matter to the Financial Ombudsman ("Finansklagenemnda") at www.finkn.no/.
You can also download the claim forms and send it to us by post (you can scan the form and send it as an attachment).
